Josh and Jake Harris watched helplessly as their father, Phil Harris of the hit television show “The Deadliest Catch,” smoked himself to death. Now Josh is on an anti-smoking campaign to keep others from sharing his father’s fate by promoting the use of inLife’s electronic cigarette, a device that delivers nicotine without the deadly side effects. As Josh recently discussed on the Jay Leno show, smoking is deadly and hazardous to your health. His goal is to get the word out about the inLife products and provide as much knowledge through syndicated networks and radio across the country. In addition, Josh and Ken James (his DECK BOSS for his inLife anti-smoking campaign) have created JOSH’S CREW and are promoting the inLife GOTeNICOTINE.com national tour.  Josh’s mission is to make sure that not only the crew of the hit television series “The Deadliest Catch” use the product, but to get as many people across the country using it also.  Phil Harris is known for his role as the feisty, like able Captain of the Cornelia Marie, a crab fishing boat on the show “The Deadliest Catch.”  Six months ago Captain Phil Harris died from complications from a pulmonary embolism brought on by a stroke. The doctor’s claim the stroke and pulmonary embolism were a direct result of years of smoking upwards of nine packs of cigarettes per day.  Warned the year before when he developed a blood clot, Captain Phil did not take head of the doctors’ warnings. Back on the boat and back out to sea with the daily stress of finding crab and making quota, Captain Phil started to self-destruct as he returned to his disastrous behavior and habitual smoking habit. “The Deadliest Catch” is going into its 7th season and is the number one rated show on the Discovery Channel.  This show brings the viewer into the lives of crab fisherman in the Bering Sea’s.  The crew of the “Cornelia Marie” will face many challenges, as they deal with not only the grief of losing their beloved captain, but keeping the tradition of the Cornelia Maria and the family legacy alive.  The Bering Sea’s are dangerous and deadly and have taken the lives of many great fishermen. When you are working in these kinds of conditions you must trust and count on each member of your crew.  After experiencing the loss of his father and talking with the doctors, Josh Harris took a look at his lifestyle and realized that if he did not change his smoking habit and do it quickly he would be following in his father’s footsteps. With this in mind, Josh and his younger brother Jake decided to do something positive in their father’s legacy and memory. Finding an alternative to smoking cigarettes and informing others about cigarettes deadly effects has propelled Josh to partner with inLife, an Irvine based company founded in 2007 by five entrepreneurs that have years of successful business startup and direct market selling. Craig Youngblood, Simon Lu, Steve Youngblood, Gino Ferrare, and David A Baker, came together and formed inLife, LLC.  inLife  is not only eco-friendly, but also provides you with an opportunity to change your  future and lifestyle by giving the customer a better alternative to smoking cigarettes.  Traditional cigarettes have over 4000 chemicals in them, with over 50 that are known carcinogens. The inLife electronic cigarette has four basic chemicals, which include Propylene Glycol and Glycerol (both food additives), water, flavoring and nicotine in a desired level of either high, medium, low or zero levels. For those that are looking and are in need of an alternative to smoking cigarettes, this is a very effective product to use.  Josh Harris has stepped into the spotlight to help bring not only knowledge of the product to the forefront of people’s minds, but also to help with the changing of how smoke affects our environment and those around us.  Josh will be available for interviews until Oct 1, 2010 when he returns to Dutch Harbor, Alaska and the unforgiving Bering Sea to start filming another season of the amazing hit show “The Deadliest Catch”.  We're going fishing, baby! We're going to keep the old man's dream alive.
