LEE LANG - BIO

With an eye that only experience can give, Lee Lang is known as a Hollywood Visionary. A producer of hundreds of projects, commercials, programming, and a builder of companies, projects, and artists, Lang is one of the earliest developers of streaming music downloads on the Internet through Rockwindow Television Network in the late 1990s. As an early pioneer of the music ‘dot com’, Lang continues to develop cutting edge niche companies for the Internet in the areas of music and entertainment.

Lee Lang has been in the film business for 35 years. Masterful behind the camera and in executive positions fundraising and producing as an “action=results” style producer immersed in new media, Lang is CEO and President of Programming for Thrive News TV. Lang’s company focuses toward video programming from the red carpet and supports established, emerging, and independent artists, companies, and projects.

A Chicago native, Lang has worked out of New York, Chicago, and for the past twenty-five years, Los Angeles. Working with many production genres from script development, television, radio, and from CNN to Associated Press, Lang apprenticed with Bill Curtis in the late 1970s and has completed projects with some of the greats…the late Barbara Stanwyck, Burt Reynolds, Troy Donahue, Doug McClure, James Cann, and has worked on projects with Woodstock co-founder Artie Kornfeld, Rockline’s Bob Coburn, Jim Ladd with KLOS, MTV developer Nyhl Henson, the late Ricky Nelson, Edwin McCain, the Sun Theater, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and was part of the grand opening of Seattle’s Experience Music Project.
